Principles and rationale

Under the Ministerial Regulation Prescribing Standards for Administration and Management of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment, B.E. 2549 (2006), which applies to undertakings or workplaces, it is required to appoint safety officers at the supervisor level, technical level, advanced technical level, professional level, and management level, an Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Committee, and heads of units, to perform the functions of administering and managing occupational safety, health and environment of the workplace.
