Principles and Rationale

Under the Ministerial Regulation Prescribing Standards for the Administration and Management of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment, B.E. 2549 (2006), which applies to businesses or workplaces, it is required to have Safety Officers (จป.) at the supervisor level, technical level, advanced technical level, professional level, and management level, as well as a committee on occupational safety, health, and environment and a head of unit, in order to carry out the administration and management of occupational safety, health, and the working environment of the workplace.
